So Michael, what do you do?

I own a Disc Jockey company. My job is to provide music and entertainment at special occasions. But really, I create personal relationships with my clients so they will have a memorable, unique and fun party!

You are not just another customer. After creating a connection with you, I’ll help you plan the all the details of your party. You’ll be able to relax as the weight is on my shoulders. When you book me, you’re not only paying for incredible entertainment, you’re paying for peace of mind.

As YOUR DJ,

If you want your family and friends filling the dance floor throughout your affair, then you know I’ll mix your favorite songs from today’s clean hits to the classics. I’ll provide the soundtrack to your lifelong memories.

I recognize the different musical tastes of your family and friends and accurately read the crowd to play the appropriate song at the right time, engaging all your guests.

There’s no standard playlist. Every party has its own unique song selections. The music will be played at a reasonable volume so that guests can carry on a normal conversation with a filled dance floor behind them.

As YOUR MC,

I’ll develop a connection with your guests so they are informed, involved and motivated to dance without stealing your spotlight.

I’ll bring the fun making sure that your guests will dance, play, sing and smile throughout the party.

Don’t let the first half of your reception be boring. I’ll help you create an event that is fun from beginning to end so your guests want to stay and celebrate with you throughout the entire event.

Everyone will leave your party having had a great time…even if they never hit the dance floor.

As YOUR Planner,

Just like the director on a movie set, I’ll take care of the little details to make sure everything, and everyone, is where they need to be, when they need to be there.

You’ll be lined up for the introductions. Everyone will know what to do during the candle lighting ceremony. Your entire crowd will be able to see the montage. You’ll have a heads up about the parent/child dance. I’ll get everyone on the dance floor for the hora. And more!

I’ll work with all your vendors to make sure that everyone’s on the same page, producing a high-quality, smooth-flowing and stress-free affair.

The saying goes, “the acorn doesn’t fall far from the tree.”

My dad, Joe, was a radio DJ and I thought that his job was “super cool!”

When I was 11, I starting schlepping my father’s equipment to parties. The rest is history…

I learned about and developed a true appreciation for music of different genres spanning decades.

Then my dad taught me how to build the crowd’s energy and keep the event flowing.

(You’ve gotta love the tux’s we wore in the ’90s!)

In 1995, when I was 15, I officially began DJing.

I couldn’t drive, but I could fill a dance floor!

In college, I drove from University of Maryland College Park to Baltimore nearly every weekend to DJ.

(And my cool outfits continued into the 2000s.)

Entertaining at bar/bat mitzvah parties, wedding receptions, school dances and corporate affairs is my full-time job.

Twenty-three years since my first party, I’ve had the opportunity to entertain at over 1,300 successful celebrations.

And I love DJing at every one of them!

My daughter Maddie could be DJing for your party in a few years. She started spinning CDs before she was 1 and began to learn the art of mixing at 2!

Maddie and her younger sister, Winnie, both love having dance parties at home.

  • I WILL ALWAYS work with you. (You deal directly with me throughout the entire process.)
  • I WILL ALWAYS set-up prior to the start time. (I make sure there is plenty of time for travel and setting up all audio and lighting before your guests arrive.)
  • I WILL ALWAYS dress appropriately. (From a casual to a formal to a themed party, I can coordinate with 30 colored ties.)
  • I WILL ALWAYS bring back up, professional sound equipment. (Just in case of an emergency.  Especially all of your special songs.  Better safe than sorry.)
  • I WILL ALWAYS create a fun party! (After all, isn’t that why you hire a DJ?)
  • I WILL NOT steal your spotlight. (I shined on my Bar Mitzvah day on May 1, 1993 and my wedding on November 21, 2010. I will NOT be in all your pictures and videos.)
  • I WILL NOT talk too much.  (I motivate when needed, and let the music do the talking.)
  • I WILL NOT bring an entourage. (I bring an assistant and Party Motivators [if your want them].)
  • I WILL NOT be pushy.  (Take your time, do your research and you’ll know I have your back.)
  • I WILL NOT play dirty and explicit versions. (NO foul language and inappropriate lyrics.)
  • I WILL NOT hide fees.  (There are none.)

 Everything looks and sounds great.
